Mardi Gras by Private Jet

A short leg to a city that briefly has no spare capacity anywhere.

New Orleans is an easy flight from the Tri-State area. Mardi Gras is not an easy week to fly into it.

The distance isn't the problem — this is a comfortable single leg, the kind of trip where private aviation makes obvious sense for a group. The problem is that a few hundred thousand people want the same city on the same weekend, and the constraint stops being the airplane. It becomes the ramp, the hotel, the car, and whether anyone can actually get you from the airport to your door while half the streets are closed for a parade.

That last part is the one people underestimate. You can land beautifully and still spend two hours going four miles.

The other thing worth saying plainly: Mardi Gras isn't a single day. It's a season with a shape to it, and the difference between arriving for the final weekend and arriving ten days earlier is the difference between two completely different trips and two completely different prices.
