Three days, and everybody leaves at the same hour.
The Miami Grand Prix is the most corporate weekend on the South Florida calendar. Sponsor hospitality, client groups, team and partner travel — much of it arrives privately, and most of it arrives inside the same two-day window.
That compression is what makes this one different from a week-long event. Art Basel spreads its demand across several days. A race weekend doesn't. Arrivals bunch on Thursday and Friday; departures bunch Sunday evening and Monday morning, when several thousand people decide at once that they'd like to be home for work.
For a group program, that departure hour is the thing to design around. Leaving Monday morning instead of Sunday night is often the difference between a clean exit and a long wait on a hot ramp.
