Miami · Early December
Art Basel by Private Jet
The week South Florida runs out of places to park.
Getting to Miami in early December is not hard. Every operator in the Northeast flies that leg, and the flight itself is routine.
What's not routine is what happens to your aircraft after it lands. Art Basel week fills the South Florida ramps — Opa-locka first, then the fields people fall back to — and when parking runs out, the aircraft doesn't stay. It drops you, repositions somewhere with space, and comes back at the end of the week. That repositioning is a real cost, and it's the line most first-time charter clients never see coming, because nobody quotes it until the dates are firm.
The second thing: Art Basel isn't the only demand that week. It sits inside a stretch when South Florida is already busy, so the squeeze starts before the fair opens and doesn't let go when it closes.
The full guide is in progress
We're working through which South Florida field makes sense from each Tri-State departure, how early the ramps actually fill, and what the repositioning arrangement typically looks like that week. If you're planning for December, send us the details now rather than in November.
